While in Michigan, we went to a Tigers game. It was Kyle and I, Ryan and Becky, and Adam and Suzie. We left the kids with the grandparents and had a fun date night. The Tigers lost, but we still had a good time. Well, until we left the park. It started down-pouring! We were all soaked by the time we walked blocks to our car. Then we get to the garage and it is closed! They told us we had to be back by 10:00 pm and we got there at about 9:57. We were cutting it close, but still on time. We stood there and yelled and banged on the door, and finally someone came to let us in. He gave us all of this attitude, but oh well dude, it's your job. And we were on time!
On Saturday of our week in Michigan we had the family reunion. Everyone met up at Becky's church. There was lots of food and everyone just hung out and caught up with each other. The kids were having fun running around and playing in the gym. Here are some pictures from the day.
Sisters-in-law
When we got home, Peyton had a really busy week. He got two teeth, one on June 8th and one on June 11th. These were the front two on the top. Again, no problems teething. He pulled himself up for the first time on June 10th. And he turned 8 months old on the 12th. He was 28 inches long and weighed 16 lbs 8 oz.
Kyle celebrated his first Father's Day on June 15. We spent the day at my aunt's house for my cousin's daughter's baptism party. It was a really nice day. Here is Peyton doing 'horsey' with Pop-Pop. My dad said it was much easier to do when I was little. Uh, yeah, that's because he's old now. Hehehe.
Here is Peyton giving Daddy his Father's Day gifts.
We discovered that Peyton's favorite t.v. show is Wheel of Fortune. I think he likes the colors of the wheel as it spins. Look at how into it he is.
Peyton gets some traits from me. They include his nosiness and love of talking, as you can see from the next two pictures.
Also this month, Peyton finally started crawling! He had been working on it for weeks, but could only go backwards. He got it on June 22. From then on, there was no keeping him in one place. He was always on the go!
