Since it was an early game, we cooked some breakfast to eat. Here is the genius squad trying to level out the grill so that the pancakes and eggs wouldn't run all over the place. They did a good job!
While Dad and I were preparing the food, Peyton, Kyle, and Jeremy played a little tailgate golf.
My dad did all of the cooking. He made bacon, sausages, scrapple (bleh!), pancakes, and fried eggs. Everything was quite yummy! Here's the grill master.
After everyone finished their breakfast, the boys played a little football. They were playing with a regulation size football, which was bigger than Peyton's head. It was hard for him to throw it because it was so big, so he got elected to be the center. He was very good at snapping the ball. Kyle was the quarterback and Jeremy was the wide receiver.
The Terps won 42-28 over Florida International University. Woohoo!
We cleaned up from breakfast and then walked up to the stadium. Peyton walked about 50 feet, and then decided that Kyle needed to carry him the rest of the way. Poor Kyle. It was pretty hot out. Once in the stadium, the sun was just beating down on us because it was noon, so it was straight up above us. I don't think there was a cloud in the sky. I wasn't feeling well again, so I spent a lot of time sitting down by the concession stands, rather than watching the game. It was in the shade and much cooler down there. They had one of those misting tents set up, which was the highlight of Peyton's whole day. He loved playing in the water.
