Peyton was fascinated by the paddle boats in the water. Some of them looked like dragons, and he called them "sea animals." He watched them for a long time. He also tried to see some actual sea animals in the water, but of course the water is too murky to see much of anything. That didn't deter him from looking though.
Even Hunter was awake for the festivities!
We strolled along the path that leads down to the Science Center. There was a performance with about four drummers and six dancers going on. Peyton was enthralled and could have stood there listening to the music and watching the dancers all night if we would have let him. He even busted out with some of his own dance moves.
We stopped to take some pictures during our walk.
By the time we made it back over to where the restaurants are located, we were all getting hungry. We decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory. We had to wait about 45 minutes for a table because it was the weekend. We got lucky and got a table outside though, so it was worth it. The food was delicious of course, but I didn't get any cheesecake because of my diet. Boo. By the time we finished dinner Hunter was super fussy, so we walked around a little more to try to calm him down before getting in the car. A Motown-like group was performing in the little concert area by the water. Hunter and I listened to them sing while Kyle took Peyton to the bathroom a few times. Hunter finally fell asleep, so we walked back to our car and left for home. It was a pretty great evening!
