Aunt Bev gives Peyton some type of gingerbread man every Christmas Eve. This year, he got this gingerbread man decoration that we can hang on the wall.
Kim and Bo got Peyton and Hunter these cute Rudolphs. They have a blanket and a book with Rudolph's story.
Hunter liked his Rudolph. Mostly, he enjoyed chewing on its ear.
Grandmom and Pop-Pop gave Peyton a train ornament with his name and 2010 written on it.
They gave Hunter a Baby's 1st Christmas ornament. Of course, Hunter just wanted to eat it.
When we got home from dinner, Peyton got everything ready for Santa's visit. He chose to leave Santa some chocolate chip cookies.
He put them on Santa's special plate.
I poured the milk into Santa's cup and we left a carrot out for the reindeer to eat.
Next, Peyton helped me write a letter to Santa.
Finally, everything was ready for Santa!
It was way past Hunter's bedtime and it was creeping up on Peyton's bedtime, so we went upstairs to read The Night Before Christmas. My dad read this to Jeremy and I every Christmas Eve, and it is a tradition that I wanted to carry on with my kids. We've done it each year since Peyton has been born. I think Hunter enjoyed hearing the poem for the first time.
Aren't my boys just adorable in their matching Christmas pajamas?
Duh, of course they are!
