Another Terps Game

On Saturday, we went to the Terps game. This was the 4th one in a row, which is a pretty long stretch for them to have consecutive home games. We brought Peyton with us again because the weather was beautiful. The game started at noon, so we got to campus around 10:30. Dad cooked sausage, bacon (thanks Mom), eggs, and pancakes on the grill. It was all really good and it was nice to have something different to eat (besides hamburgers and hot dogs) for a change.

From 3rd through 5th grades, I was friends Tahis. Turns out her brother Cody is a red shirt freshman on the Terps this year. Since she's a family member of a player, she gets free tickets to the games. We haven't seen each other for 17 years, so we decided to meet up this week. It was so great to see her and catch up a little. I was excited to introduce her to Peyton and Kyle too.

My guys
Peyton was so cute at the game this weekend. He is starting to learn all of the cheers, and even randomly started doing some of them on his own, without any prodding. He was yelling "Go Terps!" and yelled "touchdown" and put his arms up each time Maryland scored. They also do a thing where one side of the stadium yells "Red" and then the other side yells "White." Peyton loves this one and did it himself several times throughout the game. Too cute.

The Terps played Clemson, their first ACC opponent. For as crappy as they've been playing, we thought the game would be a blowout. Clemson was 14 point favorites. But to our surprise, the Terps played well and won!! That means they are now in 1st place in their division of the ACC.

The games are much more fun to go to when they win. Duh.
