Mother's Day was pretty low key, which was fine with me! Sundays are my sleep-in day, so I didn't get up until late. We didn't do anything for the rest of the day, which is unusual for the weekend. Normally we always have something to do, so it was nice to just chill at home. Peyton and I played at the playground and Kyle grilled burgers for dinner. Peyton got me these beautiful roses.
My baby boy and I
Peyton has definitely entered his "no" phase. He answers "No" to everything... even things that he really does want. For example, he'll want a snack, so we'll go in the pantry. I'll let him pick out what he wants. Then I'll grab it off the shelf and he will proceed to say "NO!" Then, I'll put it back and he will throw a temper tantrum, because really he did want the item. Here he is having a meltdown. It is so hard not to laugh at him because it is just funny.
Peyton is also kind of fascinated with shoes lately. He will grab our shoes and then try to put them on our feet, the way we put his on his feet. It's cute. Then he wanted to wear my shoes around. We put them on and he tried to walk with them. It was like watching him when he first learned how to walk. He was stumbling around everywhere. Funny.
