My parents stopped by our house the day before Valentine's Day to give Peyton and Hunter some gifts. They each got a big balloon. Peyton's was a monkey holding a heart that says, "I love you" and Hunter's was a frog, also holding a heart that says, "I love you." Peyton got a cute (well, it's cute at least the first time that you hear it - we are way past hearing it for the first time...) puppy dog that sings Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places. Peyton also got what might be his favorite movie ever - Madagascar. Grandmom and Pop-Pop have this movie at their house and Peyton watches it pretty much every time that he's there, so now we have a copy for our house too. Peyton likes to refer to it as the "I like to move it, move it..." movie. I'm pretty sure he loves it because it's all about animals, which we all know are his favorite thing to talk about, play with, learn about...
Hunter also got a puppy. His sings Do You Love Me. He also got a Care Bears movie. Can you say blast from the past?
Thanks Grandmom and Pop-Pop for the gifts!
On Valentine's Day, you know I had to dress the boys in something special. Hunter is my little heartbreaker.
And Peyton (I don't know what's up with that silly face) was the eligible bachelor. But, if you ask him, he has at least 3 girlfriends; yesterday it was up to 5. He's going to be breaking some hearts too.
Of course there was brotherly love too.
After my three Valentines got home (I love you, Kyle!) we opened gifts. Peyton made Kyle and I this cameo. So cute and it looks just like him, right?
Kyle and I gave Peyton a Dora the Explorer Valentine's Day book. He is going through a little bit of a Dora and Diego phase right now.
Peyton also got some chocolates.
Hunter was excited to see his gifts.
He got an Elmo Valentine's Day book and some chocolates. (Even though he has six teeth, I think I will take care of those for him!)
I'm so happy that my kids love books!
Peyton and Hunter also got a special package in the mail from my cousin, Austin. They each got a really cute red jacket.
